Life Beyond Music
Music may be the soul of my life, but art in all its forms fills my world with colour, texture and meaning. My love for beauty, creativity and craftsmanship led me to found Suvalaxmi, my own interior design company, a space where I transform homes into soulful, artistic sanctuaries. I believe a home should not just be lived in, but felt, every corner should tell a story, every object should have a memory.
I collect paintings and traditional art pieces from across the world, especially from local artists and forgotten artisans. Decorating homes, restoring heritage designs and creating spaces that breathe emotion is a form of meditation for me. I also paint, and I enjoy creating sculptures using marble stone powder, where my hands find their own rhythm beyond music.
My love for nature shapes my life just as deeply. I find peace in gardening, nurturing flowers, plants and tiny saplings that quietly teach patience and devotion. When I am not singing or designing, you will find me reading, surrounded by books, birdsong and soft sunlight.
But the purest joy of my life is the time I spend with my dogs and birds. I am an animal lover at heart, and I feel deeply connected to all living beings who cannot speak but feel so intensely. I actively support and volunteer with animal welfare charities, especially those who work for homeless, abandoned and injured animals. Their trust, their eyes and their silent gratitude have taught me more about love than any book or stage ever could.
For me, art is not separate from life, whether it is music, painting, designing, gardening or caring for animals, it all comes from the same place: a desire to create, to nurture, and to love.
